I love that Essential Oils can have an effect on your emotions. This was something that I knew nothing about but was pleasantly suprised when I started using them. After implementing them in my cleaning and using my diffuser, I started to realise how good they can make you feel. 1 drop of Lavender can relax the body and mind! When you inhale an Essential oil they interact with your limbic system in your brain. The great thing about this is different Essential oils can be used for relaxing, stimulating, energising, grounding. As essential oils affect people differently you may not get the same response that someone else does. Use this as a guide to find the Essential Oils that work for you. This is definitley not a finite list but one to help you get started. To experience Essential oils you can inhale them directly from the bottle, apply topically with some carrier oil or my favourite is to put them in a diffuser

Dffusing essential oils is in my opinion the best way to experience them. I love diffusing lavendar and cedarwood or Frankincense at night time before sleep. Anything citrus with some mint in the mornings to encourage everyone to get up and go when we are feeling a bit lethargic. Orange is a firm favourite of one of my boys when combined with Lavender.
When applying essential oils topically, always dilute and less is always best. Please always follow a safety guideline when applying topically. As a general rule 2% for adults and 1% for children over 2
I would love to hear if you have had a positive experience with Essential Oils.
